Hard to see really as the gap between him and the deflection is so small. I though it was hitting the post at worst but just nesting in for me.

Whilst this may contradict popular forum opinion, that first half has showed he can still pick a pass.
He has obviously lost a yard of pace but his brain hasn't slowed down and anything United have looked like creating first half has come through him (Martial Chance / Bailly chance both from great Rooney passes).

If the price/deal is right still has a lot to offer our squad (which will have hopefully 15-20 more games next year from deep cup runs).
Also think will be important off the pitch if he comes

He's like an attacking Barry.

I agree in particular about the off-field stuff. Morale, belief and leadership are all important things that aren't always apparent as a fan watching the game. Rooney would help with all that, I reckon.

Yes , no credit given because Martial failed to convert but that was as good as the Sanchez ball to Ozil.
