I actually thought there were many positives during the first 60-70 minutes. We created chances, but were awful in the box. Thought several players were dangerous today. Think it's pretty obvious the Gana/Davies/Rooney midfield is decent, even with Rooney playing a horrid game. We made a lot of bad decisions and got quite a bit of bad luck as well.
But the bad...the Walcott/Kenny combo was completely out of sync. We still have serious limitations with Williams in the back. The poor work in the final third was due to a complete lack of organization and idea as to how we were attacking in addition to Niasse being awful. Too many unecessary giveaways, but at least there was work to win the ball back at times.
Honestly, though, Sam is the number one issue. Waited WAY too long to make the 2nd and 3rd sub. Just incompetence, several in the midfielder were out of gas. And why he tried to bottle everything up in the second half was mind boggling.
