That's it in a nutshell. Pearson would have made them harder to beat in those last two games. It smacks of absolute panic and could only have a negative impact on the team prior to two quick succession games were you'd want any last 0.01% you could get. If he'd have got a point it might have been enough to change the entire dynamic of the relegation fight in their favour ... no sympathy for them over this.I think we can all state that sacking him was mistake

Unless he did something so beyond the pale but I presume that'd be well known either by rumour or innuendo if not by factual report if that was the case.So weird too as he was likely gonzo at the end of the season anyway
