Watches you miss?
Mine is a Seiko 6105 I bought new (yep I'm that old) sold it about 10 years ago for a couple of hundred quids.

Seiko make great watches. Have a SKX031 which is also a pretty battered thing, but just motors on.

The 6105 is a bit of a beast.

That Ali express thing is very nice on the corners!

I quite like this sector dial; really nice design. I'd opt for silver but the salmon dial is also quite nice and more unique.

Put my Seiko back on it's bracelet. Never quite got on with the NATO strap.

Bit of snobbery going on too, they've obviously not priced entire ranges of watches recently. To have Seiko and Longines below Apple on the cost scale is a pisstake.

Pedantically-speaking: Not a cost scale, it’s just saying that millionaire tech-bros and poorer people will both buy the Apple Watch.

As is so often (feels like it) today, I think it was just made to incite an argument/draw hits. Hence the "doesn't wear a watch" comment high up on the 'fun to be around' scale.
