Jelavic - never had I seen a player's performances go from the sublime to the ridiculous so suddenly.

Sad thing is mate I would give anything to see this type team of Moyes again instead of the insipid, spineless beings filling the shirt at the moment. Players who actually looked like they gave a monkeys and that is a very sad place to be considering the team of 35 years ago

Bily certainly mixed the sublime and the ridiculous in individual matches but not so much in terms of continuous decline . Whereas Jelavic went from scoring 11 goals from his first 13 appearances (and in so doing looking the most natural goalscorer we'd had for many a year) to taking another 37 matches to get his other 10.

All of these classic matches have one common denominator: the crowd was vociferous in their support of the team. Almost like a twelfth man.

I hope we can recreate that sort of atmosphere when we're finally allowed back into Goodison.
