Looking for footage of Oxford away in championship campaign of 86/87 when Wilkinson equalised with minutes to go, remember seeing the goals years ago but can't locate it or remember where now.

Can't bear to watch it. It was my birthday grrrrr!!! Was at Forest on the Saturday and felt it slipping from our grasp then.....terrible end to an exciting season.

Then it was off to Oxford and the Lineker misses. I remember when there was just a few minutes left thinking lets just hold on to the point since at least that meant the RS would then have to go to Chelsea and win on the last day. Then disaster in the last minute. There was no way they were then going to cock it up, needing only a draw to win the League. Never felt so devastated.

I think that footage is from the official club videoing. I've got a copy. No commentary. Just the crowd noise. And what noise it was. Incredible. No RS-type pre-match engineered hype, just the passion and pure adrenalin of 50,000 Blues.

Even when we were great we found ways to break our hearts mate,often think back to that 85-86 season an wonder if it might have been better to have finished third and gone out in the semi final
