I was just to the right of our first two goals in the park end - we ended their unbeaten record 3-2 flattered them - a great game in the park end 1 hour before kick off too....Sunny August day,a packed Goodison resplendent, great team, great (dirty)opposition,on our way to the title,3-2,what’s not to like?

Think it's the 1-1 match.Which game mate?
Lot of famous players in the bottom two Rico who I didn't know went into management : Asa Hartford and Terry Yorath to name but two.Not a match .... but no idea where else to post this. A look back at when footy was a real sport, before the sanitised parade of foreign mercenaries and sky cash which has stratified, stagnated and strangled the game.
Just look at aone if the names on here - I knew loads of them like it was yesterday. Today I struggle to name our own squad, I pay so little interest in thesportentertainment. Interesting to see so many managers finding their feet in the lower divisions (what becamecof Mike Walker ... rings a bell), or starting long careers.
