For a while he wasn't as good as Jim Arnold so would have been pilloried if the internet was available then.Might have ended up at Burnley or Stoke.

Saw him on his debut I think against Ipswich...didn't know I was watching a great keeper on that day but he had the right mindset and individuality that every top goalie needs.
