We will look back at this in years to come, even if he’s no longer with Everton, and agree that today and Duncan Ferguson was the best thing that ever happened to him
He was, he was getting back and doing his bit, tracked back and won the ball and it was given as a foul, it was never a foul either.Would recommend people watch his time on the pitch again -- looked leggy, wasn't doing any defensive work and was behind the play going forward. Not sure what there is to defend to be honest.
Maybe.
But I really didn't see what he'd done wrong. Iwobi had an absolute stinker all second half, for example.
Do you know what's a vital part of being a manager at this level? Getting results, and Ferguson's got two great ones so far. If he needs to hook at 19 year old lad that clearly didn't look arsed to get that result then so be it. Inexperience my arse.No the lads 19 and we should be looking at him as a future forward. Looks low on confidence anyway so this will hardly help.
Ferguson showing his in-experience. And yes I know he’s got us a win and a draw but man management is a vital part of being a manager at this level.
Did we have the same manager? No. So is that point relevant? Also no.There have been performances by senior pros very recently that have been 10x worse than that and never resulted in an embarrassment like that.
Just think it's weird to start making these types of points with 19 year olds with 2 games under their belt
It was very near the end, Niasse will fight more defensively than Kean. No problem from me if Kean doesn’t make a fuss about it he will get his chance.
Fair enough mate. Am well and truly got a first class ticket on the Big Dunc express and won’t have a bad word said about him.Different though with Rich, he had plenty of people around him to help - Silva and Gomes (who has been over here forever)
I trust Dunc’s decision in this one.
Keane had the look of a spoilt brat when he came off.
Needs to do some growing up.
The lad looks crap! Anichebe was showing far, far more at his age. More pace, more aggression, more goals! Anichebe even showed more effort ffs!
He’s another waste of money from Brands!
So you always just trust the managers decision, you never question it?
