He's always so good 1v1 with his man, as well as being an extremely nice kid, which is why I continue to have a soft spot him despite him really not being good enough with his all round game.

Every single time someone tries to take him on, I'm completely confident they aren't getting past him. I can't think of another left back I'm that certain of.

Not many wingers get the better of him. Hutchinson was their brightest player and he dealt with him very well.

We all know he’s not great in the final 3rd but finding a full back that can do both costs a lot of money

I've always said defensively excellent. Positionally faultless, rarely gets skinned. Always did well against Salah.

His limitations are going forward, and in the modern game that's crucial unfortunately.

It is, but he definitely looks like he's following instructions not to venture too far forward.
I know he's not great at that but I think he does enough to warrant his place and praise.

Agreed, but tonight was deffo a game where we were so short without Alcaraz and Grealish I'm not surprised we didnt get past the half way line lol

I’m glad to see the Mykolenko love tonight. He deserves it. He works so hard and is good on defence. I didn’t see a lot of playing through tonight but that’s to be expected. I have definitely seen an improvement in his forward play since Grealish joined us. He reverted back tonight without him.

He is the perfect premier league full back for away games. Id give him another contract and then sign a more attacking left back for home games
