I think you're over stating the ability of championship LBs.

Mykolenko, while limited going forward, is a decent defender. He'd fit in any Championship defence easily.

Depends on the type of team. Think he's prone to struggling defensively when we play on the front foot and he doesn't get the support from those around him.

Good defender when the whole game is in front of him, yes. Good defender when he needs to be aware of his surroundings and track runners etc? Not even slightly.

Yeah I dont even think he's that good of a defender and I feel like it gets overrated to make up for the fact that he's such a negative going forward.
