Hilariously enough we play our best when Myko actually is competent offensively. That says it all. We need competent offensively from our fullbacks on a more consistent basis. There are games where he and O'Brien hamstring everything we do.

We can get away with it when we sit back away from home but it kills us on days like today. Brentford won't have two players as bad on the ball as Mykolenko and O'Brien and it shows.

Offer ten times more than obrien on the other side. Create so much space for grealish...on the other side Dibling has no space. Always against 2 players.

We know O’Brien isn’t the best at RB but in the scheme of things he’s done a OK job as a 6ft 6 cb playing rb Mykolenko can’t even play his main position and it’s a disgrace he’s got how many games he has under his belt he’s always been piss poor had a few ok defensive displays but I’d expect that in over 120 premier league games.

This is spot on. The idea he's a good defender depends heavily on the circumstance that the whole team is in a defensive set up.

Aye. A San Marino full back can look good playing like that and the the only times we would be set up that way would be like the Forest game when we sneak an early away goal or if playing City etc and trying to fluke a 0-0.
Moyes clearly thinks he’s the best option available and is a failure of our recruitment more than anything else.
