Make no mistake, Mykolenko is absolutely garbage. Needs replacing.

Maybe my memory is tosh but I vaguely remember him looking alright at times going forward when we had Ashley Cole as part of the coaching staff so maybe with Baines and Moyes we will see an improvement. Long term I'd like a replacement but short term perhaps we could see a boost.

He started well for us, was progressive, it some decent balls into the box and scored a few belters.

Between injuries and godawful managers the lad had gone backwards, so now there’s no progressive play and he looks a liability defensively.

I’m hoping a change to the manager who coached anrguably one off the premier leagues finest lbs will get Mykos career up and running.

Though his baseline was 3/10 but he's getting a 6.5 today.

Baines coaching is apparent. Myko did a lot of things out of his comfort zone today that were similar to what Baines did at his peak, but doesn’t have the required abilities to pull it off. Especially in the first half.
