Sorry but if this lad can’t play more than 60 minutes without needing seamus Coleman to come on at left back he’s a bad signing I don’t care if it’s one for the future, this window can’t really afford the ones for the future we need ready players for cover or starting who ARE ready to play if needed. Will be absolutely pathetic if we bring a LB in and someone else plays there.
It was preseason match after he was just signed a couple weeks earlier. He's 19 any player in his circumstances is going to take a little time to acclimate. Your criticisms are fair if it's still 6 months in and isn't ready to play.

Hmmm now that’s interesting. Given our lack of quality in the right and left back departments, perhaps something like this for Leeds….

—————————Pickford——-—————
————O’Brien——Tarks——Branth———-
Seamus——————————————Mcniel
———————Gana———KDH——————
———Ndiaye————————Grealish——-
—————————-Barry—————————

I was thinking the same but with Jimmy Garner at RWB.

It's more the immediate future i.e. the next three games, after that you would hope he has the familiarity with his new teammates to then play full games from there on, once an understanding on positioning is established.
I get that but to have a left back available and not play a LB at LB is ridiculous bad enough putting O’Brien RB as good as he’s done he’s not a RB.
