I think if we were setup as a counter attacking team he'd also be a good option.

Played OK with the cover 9f our right sided player as did Young - leaving us no service upfront. It worked only the CBs & Picford saved us ,!

I don't think you can carry any player as poor on the ball as Mykolenko is if you've got any desire of being anything other than a team battling relegation.

Like you I really don’t rate him but a game like yesterday or previous appearances against the likes of Salah is where he actually looks ok and it’s his forte . Over a season it’s a totally different scenario but he did well So I’ll happily credit him , close to MOM for me

Fantastic tackle but yeah let’s just put it down to luck rather than give him credit for it. He gets so much grief in here.

Only reason it went to var in my view was because doucoure came charging in from behind at the same time.
