I thought the same, but was told the interest was genuine during the negotiations over taking Lindstrom off them - but we knocked it back.

They signed Spinazzola instead. Only started 3 games and 7 sub appearances, under 270mins worth of games.

Rui played in the supercup and not been seen since.

Olivera is the starter, Uruguayan international. Hes mostly played LB but also left mid and LCB as well.

Napoli have a very old team aside from Kvaratskhelia and Buongiorno who wed have no chance getting. So no player trading seems doable.

Perhaps there may be a deal to be done.

FFS! I've seen some Everton left backs in last 40 years. He's up there with the worst.
