Feels like we have a whole team of squad players. Apart from keepers, a squad player should be challenging for a spot, not just making up the numbers.

I really hate it when someone uses the term "squad player" as justification for signing a poor player. You are absolutely right, anyone we sign should be competing for a starting spot. Of course not everyone can start every week but only through pushing the player in front of them in the queue will our squad have sustained improvements.

An assist isn’t really going to change he’s rubbish going forward or even In possession for that matter. The sooner he’s not a regular starter the better but will probably have to put up with him for another season id imagine.

I slip into the odd phase of thinking he's not that bad but I have to remain strong and say it's a position we need to desperately need to improve. We can't take another season of him being first choice.

We still need another left back obviously. This didn't convince me. But let's see how he improves in the off-season. Plenty of time for him to develop some consistency on his cross and I have no doubt he is working on it.

Myko had a decent enough game today, rounded off with a tidy cross for our goal.

It's strange with Myko, sometimes he looks decent, other times he looks out of his depth. If he starts well he's generally great, if he has slightest knock to his confidence he loses concentration.

Probably not the full time LB to take us forward, but he’s done enough since Moyes came in to not make that position much of a need in this window. His attacking abilities have defo improved under Davey though.
