Villas-Boas on Lukaku

you might be right, we made a mistake too then

He stayed on the pitch.

Really shouldn't have. Unconsciousness should be an immediate sub, or just off if subs are used up. Not to be messed around with. I was upset with Roberto over that. Player's long term health is more important than the last 10 minutes of a game against West Ham.

Do you know what message the club doctors gave Martinez on Lukaku's ability to continue?

Every right to go for the ball.

If his actions were intentional he wouldn't be playing for us until the New Year, and rightfully so.

Leg it you gravelly voiced bellend.

Obviously I do not. But I do know that losing consciousness means you have a concussion. And concussions are extremely serious medical problems.

And according to the Colorado Medical Society they recommend that a player with his first concussion while losing consciousness for seconds should not return to play a sport for a month.

And if it happens to the Rat, can never play again.

Yes, but the question is what information Martinez was working off. You can be disappointed with the team doctors, for sure. But unless you know they told Martinez anything other than 'he'll be ok', then this incident with Villas Boas isn't comparing like with like, and it's hard to understand why you are disappointed with Martinez. We know the Spurs doctors brought Villas Boas up to speed.

Ah, I see what you mean. You are completely correct.

I am disappointed with the team doctors. I will reassess and withhold judgement on Martinez. I suppose I did not take into account the idea that the team doctors would not have informed the manager fully.

He didn't even make a challenge for the ball ffs, he ran after it then tried to jump out the way of Lloris.
