The thing about O Neill though is that he buys players and devises his team to play to their strengths almost all of them, which is the hall mark of a good manager. He never asks players to do a job that he knows their not at their best doing, he could do very well there.

Also Heskeys best spell came under O Neill at Lecister, so he knows him quite well. He could actually do quite well there.

Lets just be thankfull hes not coming here. Whats Joe Max up to these days!

Heskey is a good player, a great team player. You just have to see how highly thought of he is by the people who play alongside him. The likes of Owen, Cottee and Zaki have all called him a great player. He takes the pressure of them and does the dirty work.

Could be a very good player for Villa, alot better than Agbonlahor.

Villa play with proper wingers - Young & Milner bomb down either wing and need someone big to aim for, Carew's best days are clearly behind him and seems to be getting more injury prone - Heskey could do a good job for them as a foil for Agbonlahor.

think kilbane and bent. players other teams were not interested but moyes got the best out of them.

of course o'neil was leicester boss when he made him one of the most sought after strikers.

In the past I've been 1 of his biggest critics but play to his strengths & he can actually be quite useful. O'Neill knows him well & as mentioned Villa play with wingers so if they signed him I think he'd do well
