I thought he did pretty well today. Surprise surprise he played his best football of the season when playing right wing, the position in which he showed great form last season. He now needs two more good performances to finish the season. A lot, lot better than what we've seen though.

THIS. sort it moyles

In closing. I 100% concur with the two about comments.

Leon Osman, smallest player on the pitch won a header, and scored from it.

One of the biggest critics of Victor Anichebe, but very pleased and even more surprised by his performance today. Keep it up Vic and show us why Moyes has so much faith in you.

when he actually puts some effort in instead of rolling around on the ground he can actually be quite useful. remember when we all thought he was awesome a few years back??? he just needs consistently put in the required amount of effort.

I rate big Vic to be honest, full tilt he's a player!

Everton fans for some strange reason don't take to their own academy players and are overly critical of them, hibbert, osman, rodwell, big Vic etc!

Really they make far more of a contribution then say the likes of Billy or heitinga!

MOTM for me too tbh, first half he held the ball up and didn't get frustrated and got back to defend really well. Second half he played some intelligent balls, continued to win flick ons and showed real desire driving forward. Massive critic of the lad but I don't know what else people want from the lad than what he showed today.

To play like that consistantly instead of once every 2 years

I agree but we are talking about today and I don't see why done people can't just admit he played well. It is as if praising him is an impossibility. The lad gets so much stick and rightly so but when he has a good game there is nothing wrong with manning up and saying So.

It's just typical this site. Bily scored a belter against Wolves and everyone was on here saying how ace his and that, despite him being crap for the rest of the game.

As soon as we had another tosh result everyone turned on him.

He and the rest of the team played well once Beckford was introduced up front, stopped playing the long ball and actually set up some good shots unlike the first half. Thought a few of his touches were a bit heavy but did play well for the most part.

Bjork country? no, just a fan from the US. got up early and watched the game this morning on my computer. Not ideal, I know but definitely better than nothing.
