warning in advance, dont get too attatched like we did with manny coz we've no chance of keeping him (n)(n)

I think this is an exciting signing. The lad was picked ahead of Anichebe in the silver medal winning Olympic team, and obviously performed very well. Having the 3 Nigerians up front should help build a good supportive competitive atmosphere in the team, and if the new lad clicks with the boys who are there maybe he'll want to stay with us after this year. Even if it does turn out to be only a short term fix, it looks a very good fix.

Now...i think with this we should try and form a partnership with Inter, Mourinho likes Everton right...

...wonder if we could loan that Ibrahimovic guy...

He looked like a striker in the Olympics, he was drifting outwide though and running at people. He looked like he had good technque and had the ability to go past people.

Maybe he will be used as a winger. He's definatly a striker by trade though.

think babel !

can play on the wing , behind the front 2 or up front as a striker.

Babel is about the only [Poor language removed] player that I'd love to have in our squad.

If this guy is anywhere close to him in terms of skill and talent, then wow !!

I read on wiki (yeah I know not always accurate) that he holds an Italian passport, as well as a Nigerian.

Swear I've seen this before, whether on Football Manager or on another site.

I don't think there will be a problem here. I may be wrong!

BBC say he'll need a special hearing to secure his work permit : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/africa/7586221.stm .

Sounds like it could be deadline day before its confirmed he's coming.

Aint that only if the initial work permit gets turned down?

Cant see it being a problem. The Yak got one and he missed a few of his national duties. Dont think this lad has and he's been in Italy for 2 years or so.
