Fair enough, but they grow in the earth and get served up with meat and potatoes...

Actually you missed out on the peppers as well, which are, apparently a fruit (along with beans, cucumbers, squash/pumpkin and, of course, tomatoes).

And I agree with Atrottel. Mushrooms are magic. Love them fried.
Don't know if mushrooms are technically a veg but should be allowed in like Israel are in UEFA.

I can distinguish actually between toadstools and mushrooms, not that that will get me very far in life.

Potato's, don't really view them as a vegetable, but more as a basis for the rest of the meal.

Broccoli and green beans can't be beaten as as vegetable.
