4 goals in 7, Jimmy is talking about jumping ship:

James Vaughan remains open to the possibility of staying at Crystal Palace at the end of his loan spell.

The Everton striker has scored four goals in seven appearances since joining Palace on a three-month loan deal in September.
Palace chairman Steve Parish revealed earlier in the week that the club would be keen to keep the 22-year-old at Selhurst Park on a permanent basis.

Vaughan's impressive form for the Championship strugglers has attracted interest from other clubs and he is keeping an open mind regarding his future.

"It is not really down to me," said Vaughan in the South London Press.

"I am really enjoying my football - and it's a case of wanting to stay at a club where I am playing.

"I would not want to be anywhere where I was sat on the bench at this stage in my career. It that means I am staying here, then great."

I am jsut happy Vaughan is getting playing time and most importantly he is staying injure-free at the moment, but it is still early as to whether he could keep playing for a period of time without injuring himself, just hope he prove himself and come back and play for us!

Thanks LCAB. Sean Hughes is a top fella.Seen him at games loads of times. Vaughany is doing his very best.Great attitude, good pro.........no service,no support.....no chance at the moment, although when Darren Ambrose is fully fit.....maybe. Hope so.

Me too. My palace supporting mates in Brighton were season ticket holders. Used to go when i couldn't afford to get up to Goodison.

I believe this summer. Still don't want him to go. At the moment, I'd prefer him to Beckford and Saha tbh.
Neither do I, I have always rated him higher than Vic. Better attitude and really the complete striker, pace, power, skill, and can shoot, if only for all the injuries.

Didn't go to Middlesboro (was at Hibs v Hearts) or last night v Watford but all reports from those there say the same thing. Non stop graft and running, always available, making runs and creating space for others. Looks fit and determined.Despite playing in what is a side woefully lacking in confidence he is providing a real catalyst for sticking at it and at the moment is a very important part of our team.I really think we will still desperately need him post January.

Vaughany has said that he needs to be playing, whether that's at Goodison or not. As much as I rate him, I really can't see him getting that much game time with us. Sadly, I think he will be on his way.
