VAR

There was no evidence of a clear and obvious mistake by the referee. They could see the double shirt pull on the video and the referee was 3 feet away from it. You simply have to go with the on field decision because he was closest and called it right. The fact that they asked him to go to the monitor says everything you need to know. Cheating and corrupt. Cannot be anything else.

Today's non-pen reminded me of this:
Richarlison penalty not given.webp

As bad as that decision was, I think the fact they took 3+ mins to give Betos opener was worse. What were they looking at?!? Was a good foot onside, then they looked if it got a touch, wtf it matter, that would have put him only 1/2 foot onside. That along with tarks and the game last week, and I include palaces equaliser, looked onside yet still took 4 mins to give. Var is a joke, as close to ruining the game you can get

It’s currently more scripted than WWE mate, not the game I loved anymore.
We're almost there, mate...

The next step is to start encouraging players and managers into becoming more flamboyant and overexaggerated as characters in the league.
Injecting each season's narrative with more textbook, scripted protagonists and antagonists, FFS.

Watching a pre-game presser and have some tit like Dyche shouting into the camera: 'Now let me tell you something brothers, Dycheamania is running WILD! OH YEAH! Whatcha gonna do when I unleash 90 minutes of Dycheball, and let it run RIOT all over you?!?' 🤦‍♂️

No joke! That's where we're heading!
