Leagues with video review are always going to err on the side of letting play continue. The NFL does that with debatable catches, fumbles, etc. It’s easier to nullify a play that already happened than to explain why you blew the whistle early and stopped a key moment with a bad call.
I understand that. However, those plays have happened and are done with. It's not exactly comparable to letting 50/50 balls go when someone is clearly offside.
I'm not saying that is what is happening in Europe, only what I've noticed in the MLS when I watch it. It's rather annoying. I'm also not really a fan of reviews. To me, it's just a game and bad calls and dealing with that is just part of it. I get people wanting to make sure the correct call happens, especially the people whose livelihood depends on it.
As a fan, I've lived through 30 years of bad calls and survived it. So at this point, I just accept bad calls. Fans can get over it.
