I'm not sure there has been a lot of water under the bridge though mate. I'm not sure what you're trying to say really.

Panorama ran a story saying that essentially the source of funding to that point for Moshiri was Usmanov. 3 years on and that hadnt been refuted legally. It could have been. If Moshiri felt it was untrue, he could easily issue a legal letter to have that video taken down. That he hasnt in 3 years in rather telling.

Also in the last 3 years, we have seen numerous different things cement the position that Usmanov provides funding.

Panorama is the flagship show of the national broadcaster. People will use it as credible evidence in 23 years, never mind 3 years.

Usmanov owns Everton in everything but name
He provided the initial finance
The transfer of Arsenal shares to Moshiri and their buyback is well documented
His companies provide most of the sponsorship
He will make his money back on the docks
But mainly its good for his ego
Also as he has no children of his own Everton and BMD will be his legacy

And crucially if that isn't the case, a video being 3 years old is not really evidence it's not.

Not sure I will be around in 23 years, I am 75 now, or will Moshi and Ussy.

How will Usamanov "make his money back on the docks"?

We are buying either freehold or a long lease BMD from Peel Holdings. Unless I've missed it we are only acquiring land for the stadium and its immediate ancillary uses. The stadium will cost whatever £250m+ and become an asset/liability for the club. Are you saying that the new stadium will help increase the value and potential of the club so that, say in 10 years, Moshiri/Usmanov can sell it for a profit? I can potentially see that but lots of risks and uncertainties. But there's no way Usmanov will make huge profits from the bricks/mortar/land at the docks in my opinion.

Usmanov and his related companies will I believe get preferential treatment from Peel on specific sites on the docks and will make money that way
The redevelopment of the docks offers endless business opportunities for those with the means to access them
If he ever decides to sell the club he will more than get his money back with a new stadium
