And why do people keep asking this same question even tho it's been answered a thousand times in this thread and others already!

Its baffling, theres literally a place in Murica, its called the New York Stock Exchange, its a place where every single day people buy and sell shares in companies they will never own or ever have any sway in, im sure theres probably 1 in London as well, but I dont recall it being in many films.

It's the nature of forums: people only read the current pages of a thread. It is admittedly quite annoying when, especially concerning the club's finances or Bramley Dock, people post stuff that has been explained and covered many times before. It's the transient nature of social media, unfortunately.

Good job he's not Russian .

The article is based on the aims of campaigner and former minister, Ian Austin, who intends to target ‘Putin and his cronies’,not the ‘Russian people’ with sanctions etc, following the poisoning incident in Wiltshire and other recent unsavoury incidents involving defectors to the U.K.

Usmanov is mentioned in the article, as he fits the description of ‘crony’ due to his close connections with Putin via his wife, notwithstading the fact that he is also a billionaire and Russian born.

What's his and Moshiri's rankings on the new forbes rich list.

I read an article yesterday that india has 121 billionaires on it.

I'm surprised the indian billionaires haven't got into buying a football club,PL is making grounds over there and getting growing tv viewing figures,1.6 billion people is such a huge market potentially.
Said before about Venkys, but Mittal at QPR as well. Not a great track record of Indian investment

Why do people buy shares in Google? Facebook? Pepsi? They will never own those companies, Moshiri paid around 80m for 15% of Arsenal, he sold it for 200m, thats why people would buy shares in Arsenal.
Don't understand why no one gets this especially the Esk for all his business acumen. He outright refuses to accept anyone buying Usmanovs shares on the basis that they wouldn't have a board seat. Why did he buy his own Everton shares? It is an investment.

Moshiri's wealth has dropped from £1.7 billion to £1.3 billion after conversion from US dollars to British pound.

Lets hope it is Usmanov fronting as I dont think we'll keep spending in the manner we have if his wealth continues to drop like that!
