Usmanov

That would make sense. To most football owners.

But Kroenke doesnt give a flying one about that.

No CL might make him think, but other than that, cant see him selling up down to fan discontent.

Not a chance he will sell, it's a massively appreciating asset and he has it sewn up. Usimov knows this of course, this is all about getting fan support and exerting as much heat on Konke as he can.

He's trying to lump Wenger and Kronke together in the eyes of the fans, two days before they don't qualify for the CL.

Boss popcorn.

Seriously - you think a business man of Usmanov's repute makes a $1.3 billion dollar bid for something he doesn't want?

I think he would love to have control of Arsenal.

I also think he knows that the only chance of Kroenke selling is at an inflated price.

I also think he knows he has a very small chance of getting his mitts on Kroenkes shares.

So roll the dice. No game? Ok. Move on.

(And heres me fretting about a £400 car bill, telling folk on the internet how billionaires buy football clubs. Sake.)

Thats it, he is stirring it in the background.

He was never coming to Everton and never will

He wont sit there effectively powerless forever. It's unlikely he comes here but it's certainly not impossible. Football is not like normal business. The financial return ain't enough for these kind of guys (normally). Usmanov wants to control arsenal and win. If he is unable to get that control he will leave and move on. Not in the immediate but at some point.

Someone's got to buy his 27% to sit there and watch an egotistical American do nothing

Ain't happening Tim my old boy
