is there a way to go back to the old spell check, this one only gives you a few seconds then the red line disappears, as an extremely stupid individual, I struggle to operate without this particular safety net
The forum doesn't have it's own spell check - that'll be your browser. Do you have anything like grammarly installed?
I've just test now, and the red line stays permanently for me on an incorrect spelling.
Must have been something that changed with a browser update, thanks for checking though

Maybe I'm weird but many times when I read a thread, especially a very busy one, I tend to read them backwards. So bottom up. When doing it this way it is very convenient to have the toggle between pages at the top. Currently it's only at the bottom. The old format had both.
