You're utterly mental.

5th/5th/7th in the last three seasons despite a massive negative spend on players is an extremely positive return.

Love how you so casually discuss his three successive European titles.

Hardly world class. Ffs
Can't help but agree on the footballing points.

I said earlier, I find it hard not to be impressed by three consecutive UEFA cups.

I honestly thought that Sevilla players looked pretty average in the first half of the final. I know it could just be nerves, but my point is that Emery transformed them. I know the players are better than just average but imagine what he could do with really good players, and proper money to spend. Exciting times if we can get our man!

Didnt he actually win, one game away.mits all a bit irrelevant because you have to get a fair few decent away results to win the Europa.

I've nothing against the man, but he has everything to prove, he could prove a success or he could struggle to adjust - truth is no one knows. Basically you have no choice but to give him time and be patient.

Though Zat you love a big name mate!! Nothing wrong with that like, but all that glitters.

I agree - need someone who has been competing at the top of the table in a top league - ideally winning league titles

Alan Partridge would certainly be an upgrade on Martinez (and he has a 'phenomenal' record in the cups) - but would Pellegrini be better, providing he demonstrates the necessary passion and drive

I call @Zatara :

Faustino

As in Faustino Asprilla. As no one knows what mental things he's going to say next. I doubt even he does.

Monchi would be ideal.

Emery would need to change his style of play as its so boring, we would see Lennon over Deulofeu every week.

I could understand wanting mourinho as hes proven in the prem, simeone as hes developed young players and broken the Real/Barca monopoly....

Emery has not done well in the league really and won 3 uefs cups after being knocked out of champs league and not winning an away league game all season.

Hardly world class.

You mean like we did with the last manager who you wanted to stay right up until the last very few games? Very contradictory point to make don't you think?

One would also think that with all your apparent knowledge of the game that you would have realised by now that any new manager is a gamble? It's not played out on a bit of software in real life.
