I would hope that by now, Deulofeu would have matured enough to realise that Emery had a point (and that he will be mature enough to work with him to improve as a player). If not, then he's just one player - and in this case, probably not the type of player we need.

Agree on this, Del might of had skills but didnt have the mature head to go with them, his sulking (and screaming) on the pitch put him in the wrong state of mind to play at a standard his skill level was at.

The thing with Emery and Sevilla is, a little how Moyes was with Everton was that he was on hiding to nothing. Sometimes it's best to go out too soon than wait a little.

In Spain you have 3 of the top 5 clubs sides in world football, maybe the top 3 sides fill stop. It is very difficult to get a side like Sevilla to do much more than compete for the Europa League. He is also always working a miracle, as every year they have to sell more than they buy. It's not impossible but there are limits to this approach.

With the investment available at Everton we offer a far better prospect than Sevilla in the more medium term.
