Great shout mate, if we could get Emery, Arteta would be an ideal coach to work with him at Everton. I think it would really help him settle in and I always thought Arteta would have a lot of promise as a coach, a really intelligent player.

I just gotta say this one seems like the least likely bit of speculative guff of the lot. Even worse than the Mourinho rumours. People in here trying the hardest to link Emery to us in the most constrained way, just relax and let it go.

You have to be incredibly stupid to leave a club where you're loved, where you have a top system, where you've established a legacy and where the ambition is to go out there and chomp at the heels of the absolutely best players in the world. Surely he doesn't feel the need to undertake such a big bedding-in-challenge all over again.

That said, he'd surely be a good fit but it's not happening. Everton are gonna get a dutch manager who also knows spanish.

Agree but he may just want a new challenge as he has probably taken Seville as far as they will go. Also, like everything else £££ is a huge factor. When he was linked with Napoli/West Ham last year it was reported that Napoli were ready to offer him £2.5m a season to tempt him. Thats about £48k a week - Martinez was on around £75k wasnt he? An offer of double wages and a huge transfer kitty may just sway him.
