I know someone has probably bet 20p somewhere but last night a host of bookies were offering circa 25/1 one offering 33/1, there is only one there this morning at 16/1. Don’t know enough about bookies and whether that’s a overnight thing and he will become available later?

...just checked Paddy Power, I had a small wager @ 33-1 a few days ago and betting on Emery is now ‘locked’. The market is still open, Silva is odds-on but at this moment you can’t back Emery which is a bit odd.

Emery isn’t even included in the BetVictor market but he’s ‘turned blue’ on Oddschecker indicating he’s been backed.

Dont get me wrong, he is a solid coach but Sevilla started winning a cups a few years before that. Monchi's influence is unreal. Dont think Emery is right for us...

I agree Monchi had a big factor in Unais success, but I still see him as a safer/better bet than the others tautet, yet still exiting.
He beat the RS dominantly, thats enough for me.

Big fan of Unai, of the managers available he’d be the one I would go far. He’s also dealt with a virtual complete overhaul of a football team for 3 consecutive seasons at Sevilla. Obviously with the big help of Monchi but still he’s integrated a lot of new players and got them gelling as a team. Something that I think we are going to have to do this summer.

Seems odd to me Arsenal going with Arteta.. shows great faith in a young guy, cos Emery seems a ready fit for them. Would be a hell of a statement to get him.. much more so than RK was.

Yes, I think PSG was too much too soon. He seems the type that likes to build, not have massive stars thrust on him.

..it is, but I notice he’s back in their market and available @ 25-1, so i’m not sure why he was ‘locked’ earlier.

..he’s really shortened in the betting for the Arsenal job in the last 24 hours. Arteta’s odds made him look a certainty, but the gap between the two isn’t so great now.
