I would imagine they’ll announce some tie-up with the Reform “party” and then the usual hacks will claim the Labour lead is now under 20% therefore it’s ON.

This announcement worries me due to the fact he must think this is the best state the country is going to be basically for the rest of the year.

With the 2.6% inflation news and with it the interest rate cuts to follow over the summer period, you'd think things would be better for them in the Autumn.

Whilst I’m glad we will finally see the back of these self serving rats, I do worry that the country is being left in such a state that any real improvement is going to take far longer than 5 years to implement, and as such, they’ll just be voted back out again after that.

I think it'll be a hung parliament. Labour need to win a lot of seats in Scotland and win the Midlands back. Reform might pick up a few redwall seats. Hopefully it'll be labour propped up by the lib dems and not the tories propped up by the DUP and Reform.
