As one can see were in pot three, which is ace as we avoid Athletico Madrid (my tip this year), Spartak Moscow and the bad true mentalists of Galatasaray.

Five team are drawn in each group, one from each pot, and each team will play four times in that group - two at home and two away. The top three will qualify from each group. Teams from the same nations are not allowed in each group. Aberdeen would be positively tropical at this time of year, and its possible.

So: Best Group, Worst Group?

like sparta praha out of the top pot.

as my mate lives there and its a great ol' place.

there must be a european pot joke somewhere.

pass the comedic crowbar,

Basel, Austria Wien, Everton, Panionios & Brann sounds very good.

Villareal, Hamburg SV, Everton, Tolouse, Helsingborg doesn't sound as good in my eyes (ears). If these groups are correct.

I'd love a night against Munich again, home or away. And Vienna, Nuremberg and Zürich are also good local options.

But a "get-through" choice would be the selection by Blue Wiz.

Let's see who gets closest to predicting our group stage...

I'm guessing:

Bolton: (Because of Sods law. Earn right to play European teams and...Bolton!)

Villarreal: (Because history likes to repeat)

Dinamo Zagreb: (Because we now fear teams starting with Dinamo)

Aberdeen: (Because, being Scotts, they'll try extra, super hard to impress Moyes/piss him off, and obviously put in a match of the century performance)

I'd be happy with anyone, I'm just so glad to be in the group. I agree with Teppic though, I'd love to get Bayern, it would be a tough game definitely, but what a game that would be. And to be honest, I think we'd do better against the bigger teams than the smaller ones.

Hopefully it will be a group with some classic matches.

is that christian gross's basel?
is that helsingborg where alexandersson is currently taking the piss?

Villarreal and Ateltico Madrid are the Spanish sides. There are no Portuguese sides.

germany is going to be really expensive.
