2025/26 Tyrique George

….i actually think it’s extremely sensible to do their homework before investing huge sums in a player. The key is finding out as much as possible from those who know him. Its not just about watching a player play, its also about understanding the character and attitude.

Moyes has been known to do research into players backgrounds and character before signing them.

Was it Bellamy who he had lined up, then kiboshed it at the last minute?

Bellamy would later go on to attack a teammate with a golf club.

He can't seem to make his mind up.

Is he a socks up or socks down kind of guy?

Bobble saying that while the exact figure isn't being released, Everton have got the buy option set as 'below what they consider market value', and they consider 'market value' 23m. So below that (I expect not by much though)

Knowing how Sky fudge the numbers, its probably 22m with something like 5m in addons that only trigger if we make the CL. I saw a BBC article about the George signing that reminded me of Sky. It said he was our 2nd signing of the winter, behind Rohl.

Is he a wide player or central striker?

I will readily admit that I've only seen him play a few minutes for Chelsea and he played both roles.

Looks a pretty direct and powerful guy.
