2025/26 Tyrique George

The problem is then mate he isn't going to want to stay at the end of the season if we wanted him. Same with any young exciting attacking talent out there who isn't defensively minded.
If his attitude is right and he wants to learn and be a better all round footballer he will stay and learn, if he doesn't want to do that is he someone you want at the club?

Would love a young player who has no fear mate, doesn't care who they are up against, will have you on the edge of your seat, will scare defenders, if that means the defensive side of his game is a bit cack then I'm okay with that.

Definitely don't disagree. I think we have a few of those on the way in the next couple of years with him, Dibling, Armstrong, Rohl even has that ability imo. I think the future's strong and positive.

….he’ll know that what he does when he hasn’t got the ball is an important part of the game he has to learn. It’ll be a factor at any club he joins if he has aspirations. I also think he can be a little ‘complicated’ at times in possession, but he looks a player who could play a part in the run-in.

It’s a bit of a nonsense thinking we won’t play attack minded wide players when Ndiaye and Grealish are first choice when everybody is fit ;)

Don't think he'll be here past the end of the season, but, I like him as an option from the bench, he brings something different to the party.
Why on earth would he?!? Is Tyrique George going to kick a ball any more often than that lad from Southampton we dropped £40m on who seems to be completely forgotten about.

Not suggesting TG is a world beater or should be handed starts for no reason, but there's nothing about this club or team or manager that screams "we play young players". You have to earn your place in a Moyes team, and at this time of his career, it's very much about the here for Moyes and now not years down the line.

Wouldn't surprise me one iota to see this lad holding up a Crystal Palace shirt on transfer deadline day. Seems like that kind of player in that kind of situation perfect for that kind of transfer.
