Agree, I thought he might have featured a bit more by now but it looks like we won't take up the option in the summer.

Moyes is the grim reaper for young players.

Not sure myself, we don't seem in any hurry to give him game time and when he has played he hasn't pulled up any trees. We will see in the summer.

That’s my point he’s started one game I think got 2 minutes yesterday he’s basically swapped the Chelsea bench for ours. He’s not had a run in the team, McNeil was absolutely stinking the gaff out before he was nearly sold and Moyes still kept picking him.

Is that his remit or is it to garner as many points as possible ?

Perhaps they aren't mutually exclusive but Moyes might think so

While the league position is great and he’s doing a good job, some fans can’t see past that and the bigger picture.

I’m not sure TFG will be happy with what’s going on with the young players they’d have invested in. Makes this summer a tricky one. For one I think young players will turn us down with Moyes here. And I do think he could go, even though some fans will think that’s mental and he should get a new deal

McNeil gets picked because he will do the defensive stuff. We have also moved Ndiaye back on the left (he should be there all the time imo) but George is clearly not meeting Moyes strict selection criteria in training, I honestly thought we would have seen a bit more from him by now even if it was just to take the heat off Ndiaye a bit, similar to Dibling I guess.
