I'd be amazed if he gets a start on Wednesday based on thay 1st half, only barring injuries I think he'll get a start.

Which is the wrong thing to do. Play him with a rb behind him.

He is still learning but so many times he barely had an out ball when Brentford swarmed him.

Big difference between Dibling and Ndiaye is that despite both players often drawing a double or triple team and both having little support from their RB, Ndiaye gets out of it by driving towards goal and getting off a shot. Dibling plays himself consistently into the corner.

It’s the same for Ndiaye. Always 2-3 against one and no out ball. Luckily for Ndiaye he’s the best dribbler in the league but it’s not a position anyone can excel without a right back behind. Additionally our set up is that the number 10 stays near Grealish, further isolating the RW

This is the main thing. He constantly seems isolated. I was only watching on TV, but there were so many moments where our FBs were offering no support to the wingers.

We shouldn't need super human efforts to get the ball into dangerous areas of the pitch though. The guy was completely isolated, no help from anyone.

Absolutely woeful today, didn't look interested at all. Deserves all the time in the world don't get me wrong, but he has to at least put some effort in when he gets a chance, and he didn't look interested in doing that today

Harsh, as he had no support whatsoever when he received the ball.

You could see him looking for a quiche return pass and we had nobody within 20 yards of him.

Kid needs a rocket up his backside, plays so casually and strolls around without showing us he has the talent to back it up. Fee is looking horrendous.
