2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I worry that decent young players won’t want to come. We are not giving them a chance. Getting a few minutes here & there & then expected to come in for full games with essentially no experience & no support.

Getting pulled at half time again isn’t going to help him.

Im pretty confident that being so isolated and then having to watch their players pop the ball off around him with Obrien in line with Tarkowski made him wonder what he is supposed to do.

Thats where someone with a brain cell sticks on an attacking right back when we are losing the game and one of our attackers is isolated.

Give the opposition something to think about.

To hang him out to dry 1st half then hook him is utterly terrible management.

Mate believe me I was sat in the South Stand today and it was blatantly obvious the lad didn’t want to be out there. He didn’t want the ball and was hiding, no effort he looked so uncomfortable.

At 19 he’s expected to have bad games. It was the right decision bringing him off today, he’s got to try harder.

Thought he did a lot of good things forest and a lot of bad ones today. You could tell by his face he wasn't up for it, but you could have said that for at least half the team. We were bullied by a much more physical and better organised side

He was absolutely dreadful, take off your Dibling tinted glasses and you'll see its ok to say he was dreadful. Did O'Brien help him out? Nope. But the same can be said on the opposite side with Mykolenko. But Grealish keeps on pinning his man down, comes on the inside, goes on the outside, keeps his marker 2nd guessing.

Dibling today was a)I'll lose the ball cheaply or b) I'll send it straight back to where it came.

So when its not happening and your having an off day, get yourself involved, keep trying to make something happen and the crowd will stay with you.

It was an appalling half of lack of application, urgency and desire to try and make things happen. Looked like an u18 player who we've had to drag into the squad due to lack of numbers.
That's not true though, Mykelenko was trying to overlap every chance he could.

There was nothing on offer for Dibling on the right

How anyone is slating Dibling today is madness.

He's been decent with a right back offering support.

Surely thats the logical thing to set up with?

Mykolenko getting up and beyond Grealish frequently and Obrien standing next to Tarkowski.

How on earth this kid is supposed to gain confidence and drive and defenders with ZERO support is beyond me.

Moyes hooking him at half time is disgusting.

Seeing 2-3 Brentford players on him and Obrien 30+ yards back is a disgrace.

Even with a decent right back, he'd have still found it difficult today. A few decent touches against Forest earlier in the week but you can tell he's found it tough to make the transition.

Im talking in general terms regarding how Grealish manages his workload when he's doubled up on. 90% of the time (and rightly so) he'll ignore Mykolenko because he knows within 5 seconds the ball is just handed back to the opposition.

You reference Mykolenko but i would say that he got down that line multiple times and supported Grealish.

On the other side....ZERO support.

If Dibling has a poor game, fine hes 19.

But to not give him ANY support is a disgrace and to hook him has angered me.

Why did he have no right back supporting him?

If someone can explain to me why it was a good idea that Obrien was used ahead of Patterson who seemed to link up fine with Dibling and we know likes to get forward...then we can analyse Diblings body language which always looks languid.

Hes always got the same demeanour but then boom hes down the line and away.

Today hung out to dry and to hook him for Rohl??? Buffoonery.

19 year old in not as good as a generational talent and treble-winning full international shocker

He absolutely was not offering an overlap, he chose to stay on the inside almost every time he laid it off. No undercutting run to the space on the outside, no overlapping run to the space on the outside. Just constantly settled back in the congested midfield or back to cover his defensive
