I feel sorry for the lad. The repeated failure to sign a RB has left him in an invidious position, having to play a position that he's actually pretty ill suited for. I assume that we'll go yet another transfer window without signing one, though. It's really weird.

O Brien was fine, just offers nothing going forward , should be starting center back ahead of Keane with a new rb brought in

I saw this lad a few times last season and to be honest I never saw a premiere league player in him, to pay 42m on potential was a real mistake and to pay 27m for centre forward who cannot score goals is an even bigger mistake.

I agree, he's fine, but because he offers nothing going forward it really limits our attacking play. Particularly when we don't have Ndiaye in front of him. We really need a RB in Jan (and a LB while we're at it).

Looks a tidy player and can be quite tricky. Would like to see him get it on his right foot a bit more but looks like he can use both.

….nothing extraordinary, but I was chuffed with him today. Looked much more relaxed and content than previously.

Moyes might just be doing things right with him.
