2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Why do you think he isnt picking those players?

Why do you not think that he's given a selection of players from the scouting department who fit the remit he's provided them, then he's said who he wants?

After this Hammond has negotiated the deals and Kinnear has confirmed the deals with Moyes and they have been completed.

Because the above is what the structure is. Unless you think that Seamus Coleman or the dinner ladies are signing the players?

They made a mess of it at Roma and then gave Ranieri a free hand which is how theyve also treated Moyes.

Big big big differences with Italian football and also Ranieri and Moyes. With Ranieri now as an advisor of course and Gasparini as manager who is a level or three above Moyes.

They have a mix of youth and experience with Wesley (who Moyes pulled our deal on) and Soule being two of their best players and each 22 years of age.

Gasparini a known manager who develops young players into stars within systems that are fluid, high tempo pressing and allow players to take risks.

Moyes' system is rigid and frowns upon risk taking.

I think TFG like you said before will keep Moyes as an advisor like Rainieri (who is loved by Romans) and bring in our own Gasparini-type manager this or next summer...well i hope so at least.
I do wonder about that Wesley deal. I know Thelwell was keen on him and wanted to sign him in that January window. This is a problem with multi club ownership, whatever way you slice it there's a conflict of interest. Who knows whether TFG had a word with Moyes about signing him because Roma also wanted him?

Who knows? But we could have gotten him last Jan and Moyes pulled the plug.

Then we were after Tete (an injury prone player) yet nothing after.

O'Brien may well become a decent Centre back but shoehorning him at right back for so long isnt helping him or the team now.

We'd have had Brazil's international RB and instead have nothing.

He and Dibling would have been mouth watering.

I dunno what you’re seeing yet with Dibling that is mouth watering. Maybe in 3 years time.

Looks nowhere near yet.

He was playing every week in the premier league last year. It’s hard to make an impression when you’re only getting 10-15 minutes every now and again. He must be seriously wondering about his decision to join us when he sees a one paced left winger being picked ahead of him on the right wing.
For maybe the worst team since derby.

(Wolves might take that crown this year)

to me, he looks like a kid with ability but he is now coming up against better players and we have higher expectations of him. I'd suggest he issuing coached int he background to improve his ability to pass players, for someone who came and stated his best skill is his dribbling, we havent seen it much, he seems to be playing very reservedly. Hopefully we'll see more of hi, on the next few weeks and restarts to come out of his shell a bit. We wont see the howe good he is for a couple of years. Lets not forget that R7 was a bit of a goof when he first came to the UK

I think Moyes was annoyed every cross or ball pumped up by McNeil last night was caught on camera a few times right after McNeil’s crap balls and will start Dibling next game. I hope he does he needs game time not 5 minutes here and there he will gain confidence and be more comfortable. It’s the perfect time to do so

Did he want to join us, do we know?

Maybe we can send him to Glasgow on loan.

Its the genuine lack of pace for me. Spent £70mill on Barry and Dibbling and none of them can run past a player.

For any technical ability they may have, they wont scare defences or stretch teams. There's not another option.
This really. He's yet another player we've signed who would look better with pace around them. For some reason we haven't been interested in getting the runners to go with the technical players. It's just bizarre at this point.
