Loads of potential and could turn out a good signing but for 40 million I'd be expecting a concrete starter not someone we're looking to give minutes to to hopefully improve
Zat, all of this is true when our most expensive signing of the summer won't play more than 15 minutes a match.People havent said that?
Theyve said
Waste of money
Crap
Poor recruitment
Then alluded to him being the same every game in his career.
Blah blah when clearly theyve not seen him before these few mins.
Looking at Grealish last 3 games id drop him for Dibling or McNeil.

It looks like we panicked to get someone in after being rejected by everyone else we tried and then brought a player in that the manager doesn't trust.
Whether Moyes should or not is up for debate, what's not up for debate is the fact that our largest outlay has had about the same amount of impact so far as signing Mark Travers and that's a disaster.
Moyes would play him if he was showing something in training. We certainly can't argue he's shown anything in the limited moments he's come on.Thats not on anyone, or anything other than David Moyes for not playing him.
The manager who "really pushed for him" according to the Athletic.
The manager who "approves the players" according to everyone.
The manager who didnt start a teenager for 185 games prior to Dibling.
The manager simply isnt playing him and its certainly not based upon ability.

Sure it's on Moyes zat but it changes nothing about how much Dibling has contributed so far.Thats not on anyone, or anything other than David Moyes for not playing him.

Fact is that money plainly could have been more effective this season if used elsewhere.
If he won't get used then he's no use to us is he
This really. He's yet another player we've signed who would look better with pace around them. For some reason we haven't been interested in getting the runners to go with the technical players. It's just bizarre at this point.
….’England’s next big player’ struggling to make an impact - blame Moyes.
‘Alcaraz will be one of Everton’s greatest ever midfielders’, your prediction not turning out - blame Moyes.
KDH a terrific start to his Everton career, ‘he has to play deeper so that Alcaraz starts’.

Well that's where we and everyone else differs Zat. We DO care what eee are getting from Dibling this season which so far has been nothing more than a handful of ineffective substitute cameos.Baines had 13 starts and 9 sub appearances when he signed.
He was 22 years old.
I'm not particularly concerned about this seasons impact from Dibling. I'm concerned about his development, which may be seen as the same thing by some.
What I would like to see is players like Dibling signed. Those top young stars who can be developed and in 2 seasons time be our star players around the top 4-6.
I'm frustrated and annoyed that Moyes isnt starting him now while Ndiaye is away. I'm also annoyed that he's not being given 20mins when Ndiaye or Grealish look tired at around 70mins.
I note the point that the money could have been used better this season. Thats quite clear. However, we've got to look at the longer term with certain signings, those that can be the future of the club.
John McGinn and Soucek may have had an immediate impact. In 2 seasons they'd be further on the downward slope while Dibling should be a star.
It's because he's young, talented and has the world at this feet, whereas Eggs is a former career civil servant living off the glories of a few goals he scored 50 years ago, and he can't understand why Dibling isn't working his knackers off, because that's what he would have done if he was Dibling. Understandable, but not everyone is the same, especially in these days of kids getting mega money before they've really achieved anything in the game. This is the modern game though, and Moyes doesn't really understand it much more than Eggs does.I’ve just searched your name against the word “Dibling” and you’ve mentioned him in 15 posts since yesterday.
You seem to have a weird obsession with him.

We aren't counting chickens from eggs that haven't hatched here.
I think looking to the longer term is fine but we were not yet at the point where we can spunk the best part of our budget on a player that won't be ready to have an impact this season.

I won't be irked unless on Sat he doesn't start as that game is perfect for Dibling, I think Moyes likes to utilize Mcneil for defensive stability, so I do understand Mcneil starting against Arsenal. aAso like you said it's clear Moyes has a history of easing younger players in for giving them regular playing time, people love to just make assumptionsBaines had 13 starts and 9 sub appearances when he signed.
