2025/26 Tyler Dibling

…..it always happens with players who don’t play, posters think they’re the answer when the reality is usually different. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, especially when we’re talking about an expensive new signing, hailed as being the next big thing. Fans start to turn on the player who gets in at his expense.

Dibling and McNeil’s cameo’s this season have both been largely disappointing. McNeil form appears to be improving, played well in a central position coming on against Forest and we might just be seeing sparks of the player we’re hoping from Dibling.

Maybe Dibling is being managed perfectly by Moyes, the player will tell him when he’s ready for more game time. If he’s what we hope for, he’ll play, have no doubt about that. That time might be soon but McNeil might still be seen as the better option for now.

Personally, I have no issue with whoever plays. I’d be delighted if Dibling is preferred but I’ll understand it if he’s not. In the meantime a section of fans continue to blame Moyes, but fortunately he’s the one responsible for winning football matches for us.

I can see both of them playing with Ndiaye off, KDH out and Grealish 'feeling his hamstring' in the Chelsea match.

….yep, I’ve just made the same point elsewhere. I can see them both being called upon, which will bamboozle some posters. It’s likely we’ll need McNeil and Dibling, it’ll be great if they can help us through a difficult time.

I hope he gets game time now Ndiaye is going to Africa cup. It’s his chance to show us what he’s got and I hope he embraces it. 5 minutes here and there is no where near enough time to show what he’s got but did play well when he came on yesterday. I want to see him given the chance and not McNeil
