2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Nah. Moyes is many things - but if this fella was a massive talent and showing it, he'd be in the side.

Kid is developing and probably struggling with the move. Understandable. Calling him a super talent does him no favours. The super talents impose themselves on managers - they don't politely wait to be selected.

No idea about that really as for me we have had "super talents" under Moyes before and Moyes also had a "super talent" in Zaha who he kicked out at United.

GOT posted a stat that Moyes starting Dibling before was the first start he'd given to a teenager in 5 years.

Dibling is apparently very quiet. You could imagine Rooney or Barkley almost demanding to be in the side - Dibling I think is more likely to listen to what the manager wants and follow instruction and guidance.

No idea if this is true but I would expect him to be a model pupil who Moyes will take time with to hone certain things he wants before playing him.

I could also agree with @LiamMadrid that Moyes may want him to play within himself and follow instructions to 'get comfortable' before stepping through the gears.

He's a super talent imo. No harm saying it on a forum :)

….or he’s flattering to deceive.

I enjoyed that but I’d have loved him to be more dynamic as soon as he came off the bench, I’d say his first 5 or 6 touches were ‘safe’, when I wanted him to prove a point, a little demonstration we have the super talent so many suggest he is.

A bit better, though.
If he could do that as he comes on, you would probably than see a different player for the rest of the game.

It's like he needs his leash cut.

I saw him play regularly for Southampton and he was brilliant, don't know what has happened to him in last months

Grealish and Ndiaye being undropable hasn't helped him. I'd have definitely shuffled the pack and taken KDH out of the number 10 role as well but Moyes seems set on that too.

The above paragraph just sums it up. I think there however comes a point where you say we paid a lot of money for this lad and we have to get him into the team somehow.

…don’t think he’s like that, just doesn’t seem to be a lad with fire in his belly. Talented footballer, no doubt, but time will tell if he’s got the attitude that needs to go with it.

I was ambivalent to signing him but I hope he’s the superstar many suggest, I’m sure we’ll see more in the next couple of months. We sure could do with him producing.

I'd be tempted to use KDH & Garner together and then start Dibling as the 10 next game.

If it doesnt click for him then we can bring Alcaraz on.

If we are going into games knowing the team we are playing are on a different level (basically admitting defeat) then play the likes of Dibling and other fringe players that need games and have something to prove. Won't matter if we know we will get beat against a team on another level

I have to say this looks a very strange buy for the cash paid for him.

He looks like a player who's one paced, has a trick or two and that's it.

If I was a PL club I wouldn't buy any attacker who couldn't cover ground amazingly quickly. It's just a waste of cash.

Still, I'd prefer to see him and judge him over a number of games before dismissing him. Same goes for Aznou.

Just sell the players surplus to requirements or simply not up to scratch in January and bring in faster ones and better footballers and defenders etc
It's a genius plan (can't believe no one has ever thought of that before), but it's easier said than done. Can't sell players who don't want to leave or don't have any bidders, just like you can't sign players who don't want to come here. For all the talk of "new era", our recruitment is still a bit all over the shop.
