Sadly I did,but then I've seen Barry and Beto...You obviously never saw rondon play for us
To be fair he was about 14He got homesick and had to leave his Chelsea carreer and return to Southampton, it was 50 minute drive between training facilities.
Did rondon even ever score for us? I remember him being sent off after 10 mins of playing. He was a disgraceSadly I did,but then I've seen Barry and Beto...
I'm sure you and many others are engaging in good faith and not writing him off, but there really are plenty doing so too.
Also, I would actually gently disagree, I really don't think it's reasonable to comment on *sixty five minutes* of league play and describe them as very disappointing. There is nothing to judge in that small a sample size.
I'm just talking about his ability to trap the ball, nothing more. A skill we've seen so little of lately.Did rondon even ever score for us? I remember him being sent off after 10 mins of playing. He was a disgrace
Dont want someone to hold the ball up , we all well up on chances being created so there is no actual need to ' hold it up 'He has been known to hold the ball up,big improvement.
I’m old enough to remember David Smallman coming here and being homesick, despite only moving from Llandudno.
It's happened a few times, one I can recall at City where he didn't track his man and we conceded.Ndiaye doesn't tire after 60 mins
….he was the ‘next big thing’ but it never worked out that way although one of those goals was a beauty in the Gwladys St;

The hoof from the back four just needs a player who's going to hold it to link the midfield. Barry and Beto struggle with even that. Rondon with all his faults can trap a ball more often than either of them put together.Dont want someone to hold the ball up , we all well up on chances being created so there is no actual need to ' hold it up '
We want someone to hit the net on a regular basis and Rondon isnt the answer....never was.
He's 36 , looks like a Teletubbie & crap mate was terrible 1st time around.The hoof from the back four just needs a player who's going to hold it to link the midfield. Barry and Beto struggle with even that. Rondon with all his faults can trap a ball more often than either of them put together.
Fingers twitching as you daily gaze over the posts.Evertons loss was Green Gully's gain.
*Ive waited a while to write that sentence.
