Jack says hiHe can beat a player, but he relies on skill to do it. He can’t beat a player by knocking it past them and then using pace to get past them. He doesn’t seem to have any acceleration at all and runs like he’s wearing concrete boots.

Crazy as it sounds 40m isn’t a huge amount to spend … not nowadays
Gibbs white went for more a few years ago without getting into the wolves team that much

Agreed. Can see why he’d look good last season in a team pinned back in their own half. Looks like he’s good at carrying the ball with space in front of him.I asked a few times on here whether he had pace before we signed him.
That's what we desperately needed to address in the summer out wide.
From the very limited game time, he's not a winger who'll stretch play/give us that pace out wide, so it'll be interesting to see how we use him.
McNeill has 2 feet. So just a McNeil then?Reminds me of a two footed McNeil
Perhaps he meant 2 feet in terms of height?! Sure you can basically nutmeg anyone if you can do the limbo quick enough but you're buggered if you ever wanna ride the log flumes at Gullivers World.McNeill has 2 feet. So just a McNeil then?

Debut made in the worse team selection ever - Like to see him with Nydaye at no 9 - & the ball played on the deck at pace .....
The other no 9s just encourage hoof ball ....
Russell Martin said he’d be an 8 or a 10 but they used him on the right. He doesn’t look like a traditional winger. He’s good at carrying the ball for sure but he’s not looking like an electric tricky winger who beats a man.
Got talent no doubt. Is it the type of talent we needed or that Moyes is capable of nurturing/developing. Not so sure, we’ll have to see.
