You think anyone in their right mind was coming to Everton this season? Im amazed we got the players we did after the debacle of Dyche, Moshiri, 777, points deductions, headlock gate, fighting relegation every year, the list goes on. We've not even been stable for 8 months. Gonna take time to rebuild that reputation.

We just beat the form team in the league and are eighth. We’ve already come long way.

Moyes had two ways to deal with the KDH suspension today. Either swap in Charly and be done with it or line up with Ndiaye in the middle and Dibling on the right, (or variants on this) which would be much more adventurous...

Credit to Moyes for taking the more ambitious route and giving these a chance.

Unfortunately, especially for young Tyler, it didn't really work. Glad we managed a win but we were a bit lucky and goes to show why "premier league proven" players come at such a premium: Bedding them in costs time and opportunities which are not infinite.

Not worried about Dibling yet. I am sure he will get better and get more chances! Likely against City next time also.

Were away at city so would be a different set up I’d still play dibbling and leave kdh on the bench for charly

He did that against Wolves the other night as well. There’s a properly talented player in there.

Doesn’t mean he’s ready to be starting in the premier league for Everton.

Think he’ll be brilliant but going to need time and patience.

Offered nothing if we are being honest. Everything usually goes through the other side of the pitch anyway. But for £40 million I’d expect more. Early days though.

He started 20 matches last season in the Prem (got subbed a lot mind), and made a further 13 as a sub. All playing under the pressure of a relegation threatened team.

This league isn’t new to him.

I agree, I’m just not convinced spending £40m on a sub / bench warmer is going to get us there soon.
Maybe there’s a bucket load more transfer money available over the next window, in which case his purchase won’t look so out of place to me - if we can by then sign players who will improve us immediately.
