No - he played a false BarryFalse 9 against West Ham hopefully.

We don't know but it's the most likely answer. I think Moyes just totally lost faith in the player after the game in the FA Cup. It was a really really bad performance from him and he didn't look interested in the game that day.I think it's a case of Dibling being crap, and an awful purchase, rather than Moyes. I remember Moyes benching an expensive nine million pound Bilyaletdinov back in the day. The reason he was being benched was because he was crap, no other reason.
Or he could behave like an elite level player and force his way in to the first team, if the players in front of him are as bad as you say shouldn’t be to hard for him. Judging by the reports before we signed him he had everything he needed to be a top player. And seeing the trash on the pitch ahead of him will make him reconsider a career in football ..
......and I'll ask again. Where were the top 6 clubs "battling" for his signature?Mad signing. We spent all summer negotiating for him, signed him and he’s spent all season on the bench.
True, but why would Moyes spend £40 odd million on him???......and I'll ask again. Where were the top 6 clubs "battling" for his signature?
I personally think it's so much outside his usual manner, that he had no say in the matter. Typical canny Scot and all that, £40m for him to spend, really?True, but why would Moyes spend £40 odd million on him???

Given that there were numerous occasions when once it was common knowledge we were in for a player other clubs would hi-jack the move and we'd lose out, I was mighty surprised we actually landed the player.Tbf not every decent player has top teams battling for their signature, Ndaiye and KDH being prime examples. I’m just not sure why we signed him to then not play him.

So why hasn’t he been able to do it all season??
What if Moyes okayed bringing Dibling in mate? Moyes has already said he has the final decision on transfers.
It means Moyes spent a fortune on a crap player. It's by no means the first time. He bought Bilyaletdinov, and a load of expensive crap at West Ham: Scamacca, James Ward-Prowse etc. I think he even bought Vlasic after he had already shown how crap he was at Everton.
He's just not though mate. Not saying he's ready to be starting every week for a serious PL team, but I've seen enough watching him for Southampton and England unders to know he's not just crap. Especially when the player keeping him out the side is McNeil.I think it's a case of Dibling being crap, and an awful purchase, rather than Moyes.
