2025/26 Tyler Dibling

…..there’s no excuses, he’s just been very disappointing.

Of course that doesn’t mean he’s written off but only he can turn it around.
Don't think anyone is disagreeing that he's been disappointing.

But that doesn't really make me understand why some people are constantly reiterating that disappointment in this thread when he's not even been playing, like you already have twice today alone.

Not sure how disappointing he's been when he hasn't really had the opportunity.

But didn't expect that much this season, he's been brought in with he future in mind

I think too many on here forget that and expect prime Messi from week 1

….i really don’t get this point, he’s been substituted twice at half-time in games he’s started. He’s costing lots of money, he’s expected to have made a contribution, the fact he hasn’t indicates he’s been disappointing.

If you think this season has gone as expected and it’s all going to plan, I’m sure everybody inside the club will disagree. He’s been disappointing, hard to argue differently.

Complete fallacy that he hasn't had the opportunity. He's had a good few, and done very little.

Not the player we needed. Praying he develops for his sake and EFC.

Hoping to to be proved wrong, obvs. I think it was dire business.
Well, right now it looks dire business. I thought it was dire business last summer. Obviously, time will prove who was right and wrong, but at the moment there is nothing to suggest those of us who seriously questioned his acquisition last summer were anything other than correct. Let's hope that changes - and soon.

Far too early for this. Could still be a very good player for us. Ndiaye Grelish and McNeil won’t be here for ever.
This is true of course.

My comment isn't Uber clear, but the same money could've brought in a pacey right / left back . That remains an obvious deficiency vs expensive bench warmer. And would've been way more in sync with a push for Europe.

That was kinda what I was getting at ( vaguely!).

Directly to your point as well, getting in Europe might make keeping Ndiaye etc a sight easier too. 🤞

It just makes it so obvious the brief for this year was survive safely, build for the future. Yet the flat nature of the league has opened up Europe and the business of Barry, Tyler, rohl, and Jack injured shows how wrong our business was. None look like future players. Aznou not getting a kick etc

Kdh been brill luckily. Garner growing every season. Got more of a tune from Keane, Beto's solved the L and R on his boots, Chelsea result, new home Stadium etc.

Not slagging us for fun, just we'd be a better team with the obvious alternative business. We had enough young players coming through already.
